Terms & Conditions

The Flexologist: Terms of Service

The Flexologist is committed to providing professional, client-focused wellness services grounded in integrity, transparency, and efficiency. To support these objectives, the following Terms of Service have been established to define client rights and responsibilities, service conditions, and business practices.

1. Credit-Based Session System

The Flexologist operates on a credit-based booking system designed to provide flexibility and convenience to clients. Credits are allocated based on session duration: a 30-minute session requires 0.5 credit, a 60-minute session requires 1 credit, and a 90-minute session requires 1.5 credits. For credit redemption, clients must verify their identity using their full registered name and a verified mobile number. This verification protocol safeguards against unauthorized use and facilitates effective account management.

2. Non-Refundable Purchase Policy

All purchases at The Flexologist are final and non-refundable. This policy applies in all circumstances, including but not limited to unused credits, changes in preference, relocation, and medical conditions—except where statutory provisions require an exemption. This no-refund policy ensures operational efficiency and maintains fairness across the client base.

3. Validity and Transferability of Credits

Purchased credits do not expire and may be used at any time. To offer added flexibility, credits may be transferred under the following conditions: (1) the original purchaser must authorize the transfer in writing via email or text message; (2) the transferee must present the purchaser’s registered details when redeeming the credits; and (3) each credit bundle may be transferred a maximum of three times. These rules ensure traceability and responsible use of credits.

4. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

Clients must provide at least 24 hours’ notice when canceling or rescheduling appointments. If notice is provided in a timely manner, the session credit will remain valid for future use. However, if notice is given less than 24 hours before the scheduled session, the credit will be forfeited. This policy maintains schedule integrity and ensures fair access to appointments for all clients.

5. Limitations of Service Provision

The Flexologist reserves the right to decline service where medical conditions present potential risks to the client’s safety. The company also reserves the right to modify or discontinue service packages based on evolving operational needs. Any adjustments in pricing will be communicated with no less than 30 days’ advance notice. These safeguards are in place to promote ethical practice, client safety, and business sustainability.

6. Cashless Payment and Invoicing

All payments at The Flexologist are to be made via cashless methods. Accepted forms of payment include credit cards, debit cards, and the Touch ’n Go system. Upon successful transaction, an invoice will be issued and sent electronically to the client’s email address. As such, clients are responsible for providing an accurate and active email address. The Flexologist shall not be held liable in instances where an invoice is delivered to an incorrect or outdated email address supplied by the client. This system ensures secure, efficient payment processing and clear record-keeping for both parties.

7. Waiver of Liability

Clients agree to undertake services at their own risk and are required to disclose all relevant medical conditions prior to participation. Adherence to therapist instructions is mandatory to ensure safety and effectiveness. The Flexologist disclaims liability for the aggravation of pre-existing conditions, injuries arising from non-compliance, or loss of credits due to unauthorized access. This waiver upholds a shared responsibility model, protecting both clients and practitioners.

8. Commitment to Privacy and Data Protection

Client privacy is of paramount importance. Personal data collected—including names, phone numbers, and email addresses—is used solely for appointment management, service verification, and essential communications. Under no circumstances will client information be shared with or sold to third parties without explicit consent. This policy reflects The Flexologist’s commitment to data security and ethical client relations.

9. Revisions to the Terms of Service

The Flexologist reserves the right to amend these Terms of Service as necessary. Any modifications will be communicated via studio postings and direct email notifications. Each update will include a clearly indicated effective date to ensure that clients are fully informed of their rights and responsibilities under the most current terms.
